Our dementia nonprofit supporters are the reason the Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center (ADRC), a local Central Florida nonprofit, can help. These foundations, community partners and businesses help us offer free programs to caregivers in Orange and Seminole counties and across Central Florida.

How is ADRC funded?

ADRC is funded mostly by grants, corporate sponsorships, fundraisers and gifts from people who believe in our mission. We also receive a small amount of federal and state funding.

For four decades, the Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center has offered dementia-specific programs in our community. As a nonprofit, we provide our services to nonprofessional caregivers at no cost.

We are a local, community-based dementia non profit organization based in Central Florida. ADRC is not affiliated with national organizations like the Alzheimer's Association, and we receive no income from them. Learn who we are.

That support reaches caregivers in concrete ways. A caregiver who feels alone joins a free support group, in person or online. A family that doesn't know where to start gets local options by phone or email. An adult child helping from another state gets guidance too. A care partner learns how music can help them connect with someone living with dementia. See everything we offer.

Is ADRC part of the Alzheimer's Association?

No. ADRC is a local, community-based nonprofit. We are not affiliated with national organizations like the Alzheimer's Association and receive no income from them.

What charities support people with dementia in Central Florida?

Several dementia nonprofits serve Florida.
